On Tuesday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 7 from 4pm to 8pm each day, the United States Embassy and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) will host the EducationUSA-Qatar 2021 Virtual University Fair, set to take place during the Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture.

The virtual fair will provide a unique opportunity for high school and graduate students in Qatar to interact directly with university representatives from over 50 U.S. colleges and universities. Participants will gain valuable information about academic programs, tuition costs, campus life, financial aid options, application procedures, and safety precautions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This virtual fair makes it easy to learn about the advantages of studying in the United States and to meet with EducationUSA advisers about your future college needs. High school students, university and graduate students, parents, school counselors, and advisors are invited to attend the Fair from 4pm to 8pm on April 6 and 7 at this link: https://acfairs.easyvirtualfair.com/prefair/

Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy Ambassador Greta Holtz highlights that studying in U.S. higher education institutions offers a range of opportunities for students in Qatar, including state-of-the-art campuses using the latest technology, leading experts serving as professors and instructors, unparalleled access to advisors and career services, an array of extracurricular and student activities, and so much more.

Ministry of Education and Higher Education Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Dr. Khalid Al-Ali notes that partnering with the U.S. Embassy in Qatar during the Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture strengthens our broad and enduring partnership with the United States and opens doors of opportunity for Qatari students to pursue higher education in some of the world’s most prestigious universities and colleges.
