The U.S. Embassy is partnering with Texas A & M University Qatar to conduct a series of workshops explaining the concepts of 3D printing this week at the Qatar Scientific Club. Over the next seven days, the “World of 3D printing” workshop series will explore broad topics from 3D technology to more technical information related to design and autocad objects such as lines, arcs and circles.
“The World of 3D printing” is a U.S. Embassy Doha sponsored education program in partnership with the Qatar Scientific Club (QSC). Over the past few years, the U.S. Embassy Doha has worked closely with the QSC to provide technical equipment and experts in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education. In continuation of our partnership with the QSC, Yasser Al Hamidi, a 3D printing expert and Laboratory Manager in the Mechanical Engineering Program at Texas A&M University in Qatar, will deliver “The World of 3D Printing” workshops.
The workshops will be held at the Qatar Scientific Club from 6-8 pm beginning November 10.
